Gay pride or LGBT pride is the positive stance against discrimination and violence toward lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people to

promote their self-affirmation, dignity, equality rights, increase their visibility as a social group, build community, and celebrate sexual diversity and gender variance.⁷⁴

Question: God, there’s a lot of people who will be offended, perhaps even the children of these couples, by what you are saying.

Question: How about the reaction of the “conservative” people who might use this to discriminate children of gay couples, etc.? Don’t you care about that?

Who cares? They’ll always find a reason.

Question: The church uses the bible to claim that being gay is a sin. What is your comment on this?

They are bigots

Meaning of bigot: “a person who strongly and unfairly dislikes other people, ideas, etc. : a bigoted person; especially : a person who hates or refuses to accept the members of a particular group (such as a racial or religious group):”⁷⁵
